I make these railroad spike coat trees in my shop on, believe it or not, on Railroad Avenue in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.
They are sturdily constructed with 4″ x 4″ pine, using railroad spikes for the coat hangers from railroad spikes collected along the tracks in St. Johnsbury.
Each railroad spike coat tree weighs approximately 30 pounds and stand 6 feet tall.
Local pick up or local delivery by me are the only two options for receiving one of these. If I don’t have one in stock, it can special ordered. It takes me approximately 5 days for completion.
